Untitled (edit)

Did Homer sing of Amazons who stopped the madness of the World

When on an isle of dream they stood

And swam until the Sea would end

And Earth let drop its empty cups

And drank its fill of bitterness.

What shall we drink when thirst is gone

To quaff at morning of the dawn

But brimming dregs of life we’ve known

The season’s wind and dewy storm,

Then shall we gather olden songs

To sing in silence of the dawn.
